2026 Optometry Resident Research Day
As optometric practice continues to evolve, clinicians and residents require access to the latest research and evidence-based case studies to effectively bridge the gap between academic literature and daily patient care. The UK Optometry Resident Research Event is designed to meet this need by providing a platform for the dissemination of high-quality scholarly work from Kentucky training programs while advancing specialized knowledge in the diagnosis and management of complex ocular conditions.
Hosted by UK Optometry, this event invites residents from optometry programs across Kentucky to present research cases and share clinical insights. Attendees will engage with a broad range of optometric topics grounded in current literature, clinical materials, and real-world practice. The program will also feature a guest speaker presenting original research, further enriching the educational experience and promoting excellence in evidence-based eye care.
