Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

1. Distinguish the characteristics of post-stroke depression and fatigue from those of typical depression and fatigue
2. Identify relevant pathophysiologic processes in post-stroke depression and fatigue currently under investigation, particularly at the interface of cognitive change and multiple conditions relating to dementia
3. Describe current major efforts to study post-stroke depression and fatigue and associated determinants of health
4. Select the standard of care approaches to post-stroke depression and fatigue
