When Your Patient is on Dialysis: Clinical Insights and Integrated Care- Presented by Sadiq Ahmed, MD

After this session participants will be able to: 

• Recognize when patients need dialysis and the basics of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

• Identify common issues in dialysis patients, including volume management, electrolyte disorders, anemia, mineral and bone disease, and vascular access concerns.

• Optimize preventive care ,medication management, and nutritional needs of dialysis patients.

• Collaborate effectively with the dialysis team to improve patient outcomes.
