This Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminar provides a comprehensive synopsis of the groundbreaking clinical updates and research presented at Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in Chicago, Illinois. Recognizing the rapid pace of advancement in gastroenterology and hepatology, the University of Kentucky GI department has secured the official conference proceedings to bring this vital knowledge directly to regional healthcare providers.
Six expert faculty members from the UK Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology will synthesize and present key takeaways from the premier global GI conference. DDW 2026 Review
Activity Overview
The DDW 2026 Review will provide healthcare professionals with timely updates and clinical insights from Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2026. Faculty from the University of Kentucky will review emerging evidence, evolving guidelines, and advances relevant to the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
Topics will include emerging therapies and real-world evidence in inflammatory bowel disease, MASH, primary biliary cholangitis and celiac disease, colitides beyond ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease, pancreaticobiliary updates, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in gastroenterology.
