Series Overview: 
The UK HealthCare Grand Rounds Series features PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents delivering 1-hour continuing education (CE) presentations on specialty disease states, emerging research and clinical data, and current clinical controversies in patient care. Sessions are held approximately twice weekly throughout the year on Tuesdays and Fridays and provide opportunities for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to stay current on evidence-based practice. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged to promote engagement and discussion, though virtual attendance via Microsoft Teams is also available. The series showcases resident scholarship while fostering interdisciplinary learning and professional development.  

Series Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Discuss pharmacotherapy for a broad scope of disease states. 
2. Review current literature and guidelines. 
3. Explain how the presentation content will impact clinical, educational, research and/or administrative aspects of pharmacy practice at UKHC.

Target Audience: 
The audience includes pharmacy management, pharmacists, pharmacy residents, and pharmacy students.
