
Virtual Lecture Series - SEPSIS
This virtual lecture series, presented by Kentucky Children’s Hospital, will focus on the recognition and management of pediatric sepsis. Designed to address the needs of community hospitals across Kentucky, the program will provide up-to-date clinical guidance and innovative strategies for timely diagnosis and effective treatment. Through presentations from expert speakers, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to improve pediatric sepsis care, particularly in rural and underserved areas of the state.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians and nurses who care for pediatric patients, especially those practicing in community and regional hospitals across Kentucky.
Learning Objectives
PLACEHOLDER At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Identify early signs and symptoms of pediatric sepsis.
Apply evidence-based protocols and innovative strategies for the treatment of pediatric sepsis.
Demonstrate increased confidence in clinical decision-making for sepsis management in pediatric patients.
