This is for our annual UK Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research Day. Our keynote address is the capstone to the resident research presentations.

Physicians and physician researchers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Discuss individualized, patient specific, knee osteoarthritis care based on evidence-based medicine
2. Identify the pathophysiological mechanisms of knee osteoarthritis
3. Define the biological impact and benefits of exercise on the knee joint
4. Review the use of biology to predict and evaluate treatment response
5. Implement an individualized-based approach for knee osteoarthritis management
