Pediatric Perspectives Lecture: Suicide Risk Assessment and Response
Pediatric Perspectives is a quarterly, live virtual educational series focused on key challenges impacting pediatric patients cared for in community and smaller hospital settings across Kentucky. This series is designed for physicians and nurses who infrequently manage pediatric patients and may have limited access to pediatric subspecialty resources.
Through case-based, evidence-informed lectures, this activity will address early recognition of clinical deterioration, standardized assessment and management strategies, and appropriate escalation of care. Emphasis will be placed on practical application of best practices that can be integrated into local workflows to support safe, timely, and effective pediatric care. The series promotes interprofessional collaboration and aims to improve consistency, confidence, and clinical preparedness among healthcare providers caring for pediatric patients.
