Join us in May for the 16th Annual Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center Diabetes Day. This conference highlights advances in diabetes and obesity research and clinical diabetes care.

Target Audience

The aim is to provide medical providers such as pediatricians, internists, family practitioners, pharmacists, diabetes educators, nursing professionals, dieticians, social workers, and advance practice providers with up-to-date practical information pertinent to the managing of patients with diabetes through the lifespan.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Recognize the impact of Diabetes in the youth population
2. Identify the mechanisms of central control of peripheral metabolism and how this is altered in metabolic disease
3. Review the 2025–2030 DGA "Reset" Through a Clinical Lens
4. Implement screening tools for Diabetes Distress
5. Compare the effects of GLP1s and other weight management tools in type 2 diabetes
6. Identify important lessons for reframing diabetes care
7. Identify potential therapies for type 2 diabetes, metabolism and cardiovascular conditions
