Dr. Sara Police is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Nutritional Sciences and Director of Nutritional Sciences Education at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. 

Dr. Police earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY and her doctorate in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Kentucky, where her research focused on obesity and cardiovascular disease.  

She has designed, developed, taught, and evaluated nutrition education lectures, courses and programs for undergraduate, graduate and medical students, and received multiple teaching awards over the course of her career.  

Recently named the nutrition education thread leader for UK’s College of Medicine, Dr. Police will support and advance the integration of nutrition science and clinical nutrition principles throughout the undergraduate medical curriculum.
