Ashley Ross, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP

Dr. Ross is originally from West Virginia where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed her General Pharmacy Practice and Infectious Diseases (ID) Residencies at West Virginia University. In 2011, she moved to Louisville, Kentucky and furthered her path in the ID world at Jewish Hospital and Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospitals as the Clinical Pharmacist Specialist – ID. In this role, she optimized and maintained the antimicrobial stewardship program during a system integration and merger. Fifteen years later, Dr. Ross is the ID Pharmacy Specialist and Antimicrobial Stewardship Supervisor for the UofL Health System. In her current role, Dr. Ross is instrumental in the System’s Subcommittee of Antimicrobial Stewardship and a contributing member to the Infection Control and Diagnostic Stewardship Committees. She also rounds regularly with the ID Consult Services and educates student and resident learners. She is the PGY2-ID Residency Program Director and one of the primary ID rotation preceptors for the System’s seven PGY-1 and PGY-2 ID and PGY-2 Internal Medicine residents. Beyond serving locally, she has also been an active member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists since 2010, holding leadership roles and serving on organizational committees.
