Overview
Sjögren's Syndrome represents a significant and growing clinical challenge in rheumatology and primary care. Sjögren's Syndrome remains underrecognized and often diagnosed years after symptom onset. The increasing prevalence of autoimmune diseases, combined with improved diagnostic criteria and heightened clinical awareness, makes understanding these disease states essential.
Healthcare professionals must stay informed about emerging therapeutic developments in Sjögren's Syndrome, particularly given that no FDA-approved disease-modifying therapies currently exist for this condition.
