Date & Time of Session - 10/24/25 - from 12:00 - 1:00PM

Overview
As BTE (bispecific T-cell engager) therapies expand beyond hematologic malignancies into solid tumors, pharmacists are increasingly integral to optimizing their safe and effective use. These agents present unique challenges, including cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity, which require vigilant monitoring and proactive management. Additionally, evolving strategies to transition BTE therapies from inpatient to outpatient settings demand careful coordination and clinical oversight. Continuing education for pharmacists is essential to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to support safe administration, monitor for adverse events, and enhance patient outcomes in this rapidly advancing therapeutic area.

Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the mechanism of action and immunologic principles underlying bispecific T-cell engager (BTE) therapies.
2. Evaluate major clinical trials investigating BTE therapies in solid tumors.
3. Develop strategies to recognize, prevent, and manage acute toxicities associated with BTE therapies.
4. Assess logistical, clinical, and safety considerations for transitioning BTE therapy administration from the inpatient to outpatient setting.
