Hiroshi Kato, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Michigan Medical School and a rheumatologist at University of Michigan Health. His clinical and research interests focus on complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, vasculitis, myositis, interstitial lung disease, and IgG4-related disease. Dr. Kato is recognized for his expertise in diagnosing and managing rare immunemediated disorders and for his contributions to translational research aimed at improving patient care.
