At the completion of this lecture attendees should be able to:

 

  • Define Ewing Sarcoma​
  • Categorize the clinical presentation, imaging findings and disease course​
  • Outline the pathophysiology of ES​
  • Compare the tumor differential, e.g., histologic, IHC and molecular findings in other tumors histologically mimicking ES​
  • Provide examples of the new therapies for ES
  • Discuss the genetic diagnostic methods in work-up of possible ES
