Dr. Cody Bumgardner is an Associate Professor and Chief of Pathology Informatics, Director of the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Assistant Dean for AI and Data Science at the University of Kentucky, with joint appointments in Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics. His work focuses on advancing healthcare through AI and technology applications, drawing on nearly three decades of leadership in technology architecture and operations. His active projects involve developing systems for large multimodal models, computer vision, and other machine learning domains.
