Dr. Andrew Leventhal is a structural interventional cardiologist and the Medical Director of the Kentucky Adult Congenital Heart Program at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Leventhal has extensive training Dr. Andrew Leventhal serves as the Medical Director of the Kentucky Adult Congenital Heart (KACH) Program at the University of Kentucky, a nationally recognized Comprehensive Care Center accredited by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. He brings a wealth of expertise to his role, with advanced fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Structural Interventional Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at Toronto General Hospital.
Dr. Leventhal is one of the few cardiologists in the nation with fellowship training and board certification in both interventional cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. His research interests include transcatheter therapies for structural and congenital heart disease.
