Dr. Fulks was born and raised in rural southeast Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati and her Medical Degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency in Dallas, Texas at the University of Texas Southwestern. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Fulks is a Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor which focuses on helping children with a wide variety of diagnoses that impact their development or ability to interact with their environment and community. She will be working at Golisano Children's at UK in both inpatient and outpatient areas to improve access to pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation care.
