Evangelia Kalaitzoglou received her medical degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and completed a residency in Pediatrics at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA. She trained as a fellow in Pediatric Endocrinology at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She practices at Turfland. Her clinical interests include general Pediatric Endocrinology, Diabetes Mellitus, Metabolic Bone diseases and Disorders of Sex Development. She is also interested in teaching medical students and residents and is actively involved in basic and translational research exploring the effects of diabetes on the musculoskeletal system.
