Dr. Paymon Sanati-Mehrizy is a craniofacial plastic surgeon at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Health in Dallas, Texas. He completed his plastic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by fellowship training in pediatric and adult craniofacial surgery at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

His clinical practice focuses on the multidisciplinary management of congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions, including cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, and dentofacial deformities. He has a particular interest in orthognathic surgery and the comprehensive surgical care of patients with craniofacial skeletal abnormalities.

Dr. Sanati-Mehrizy’s academic interests include clinical outcomes research in craniofacial surgery, socioeconomic determinants of cleft care, and the integration of emerging digital technologies into surgical planning and intraoperative decision-making. He is actively involved in the education and mentorship of residents, fellows, and multidisciplinary craniofacial teams.
