In 2014, Brooke graduated from UK with her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and also earned credentials as a nursing assistant from the Bluegrass Nurse Aide Training Center in Lexington. She worked two years as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), first with Richmond Place Healthcare Center, then with UK Chandler Hospital. Brooke then was accepted into the UK PA program, completing her degree in 2018.  Following graduation, Brooke joined UK Plastic Surgery as an APP and became the Craniofacial and Cleft Team Coordinator, where she has spent 8 years practicing clinically. Now, Brooke is also the Director of APPs for the Department of Surgery, overseeing over 100 APPs providing administrative oversight to manage budgets, staffing, and strategic operations.
