Overview
The Pharmacy Grand Rounds Program is a pharmacist-led educational initiative designed to advance clinical knowledge, enhance professional competence, and promote safe and effective medication use across the healthcare system. This program provides structured, evidence-based lectures delivered by pharmacists, pharmacy residents, and invited interdisciplinary speakers on a wide range of therapeutic and practice-related topics.

Pharmacy Grand Rounds sessions and are open to pharmacists, pharmacy learners, and other members of the healthcare team. Each session focuses on contemporary clinical issues, emerging therapies, guideline updates, medication safety considerations, and real-world patient care applications.

Objectives
The primary goals of the program are to: 
1. Improve clinical knowledge by presenting up-to-date, evidence-based information on disease states, pharmacotherapy, and evolving standards of care 
2. Enhance practitioner competence through application-based learning, including case discussions, guideline interpretation, and clinical decision-making strategies 
3. Promote patient safety by highlighting medication-use risks, adverse event prevention strategies, and quality improvement initiatives 
4 Optimize patient outcomes by translating evidence into practice and supporting consistent, high-quality medication management
