Anna Hitron, PharmD, MS, MBA, BCOP is the Director of Pharmacy at Baptist Health Louisville. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, she completed her PGY1 residency at the University of California San Francisco and her PGY2 in Oncology at UK Healthcare. She holds a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an emphasis in Outcomes Research from the University of Kentucky and Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. Anna has previously served as the Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, PGY1 Residency Program Director, and Clinical Pharmacy Manager for Baptist Health Louisville. Throughout these roles she has sought to establish clinical excellence within patient centered care through formulary and protocol standardization, independent pharmacist driven practice, pharmacist integration into patient care teams, development of specialist pharmacist programs, expansion of ambulatory care clinical practices, and pharmacist enhancement of care coordination.
