Timothy Mok, PharmD, BCOP, BCPS
Timothy is the medical specialties manager for Kaiser Permanente’s Clinical Utilization and Intelligence team. His pharmacy specialists, ranging from dermatology to oncology, combine clinical knowledge, data analytics, and health outcomes to create treatment decision pathways, forecast impacts of new drugs, and employ utilization management strategies. Timothy collaborates with national physician leadership to drive initiative success, promoting high-quality and cost-effective care. Timothy is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Pharmacy. His main clinical interest is oncology including hematologic malignancies, blood and marrow transplantation, and cellular therapy.
Timothy received his B.S. Biology from UC San Diego (UCSD), graduating with both Summa Cum Laude and Highest Distinction in Biological Sciences. Timothy obtained his Pharm.D. from UCSF where he was both the Regent's Scholar and Bowl of Hygeia Award nominee. He then completed both his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY-2 Hematology and Oncology Pharmacy residencies at the University of Kentucky and is currently double board certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Oncology (BCOP).
