Philip Schwieterman obtained his bachelors and doctorate of pharmacy degrees from The Ohio State University.   He joined the University of Kentucky in 2008 where he has since completed the Master of Health Administration program, a Fellowship in Pharmacy Leadership, and the Executive Healthcare Leadership and Management Program.     Philip worked as a clinical-staff pharmacist and sterile products manager until 2013 when he transitioned to the role of Pharmacy Director.   In this position, he has led numerous financial, clinical, and operational initiatives surrounding the growth and optimization of oncology, infusion, specialty, pediatric pharmacy, clinical research and gene therapy services.  He currently serves as the Senior Director for Oncology, IDS, and Gene Therapy Services.
