Dr. Leigh Anne DeNotto received her BSN from Ferris State University and PhD from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She has served as a licensed diabetes educator within the state of Kentucky. Her area of research is focused on diabetes self-management and prevention, as well as program development and evaluation. Dr. DeNotto is currently an Assistant Professor in the Kirkhof College of Nursing at Grand Valley State University.
