James Nalley, NRP

With more than 30 years of experience in military service, emergency medical services, fire and rescue, disaster preparedness, and emergency operations, Critt is a highly experienced emergency services professional and leader. He served four years in the United States Navy before dedicating more than two decades to fire and EMS, including 20 years with Frankfort Fire and EMS.
His career includes serving as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Fire Training Officer and Captain at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Contract Paramedic at Bluegrass Army Depot, and Disaster Preparedness Coordinator and Paramedic in a Level III trauma center. He currently serves as an EMS Transport Supervisor, coordinating interfacility transports and overseeing the movement of emergent, critical-care, rehabilitation, and long-term-care patients.
Critt holds an Associate of Applied Science in Paramedicine from Western Kentucky University and maintains expertise as a National Registry Paramedic, HAZMAT Technician, Technical Rescue Technician, and Fire and Rescue Educator. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for exceptional service, leadership, lifesaving efforts, humanitarian service, and performance above and beyond the call of duty, including the E.H. Taylor Award, Frankfort Fire and EMS’s highest honor.
