Cynthia Bautista is the founder and nurse entrepreneur behind Nursing Brains, LLC, where she provides neuroscience nursing continuing education to healthcare professionals worldwide. She is Professor Emerita at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, and retired from Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT after 21 years of service as a Neuroscience Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Board certified in both neuroscience nursing and as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Cindy has more than 40 years of nursing experience. She has presented on a wide range of neuroscience nursing topics at local, regional, national, and international conferences. In addition to her extensive speaking experience, she has conducted research and published her work in several peer-reviewed nursing journals. Cindy remains actively involved in numerous professional nursing organizations and is committed to advancing excellence in neuroscience nursing through education, scholarship, and professional service.
