Sabrina Reed, BSN,RN

Sabrina Reed is the Stroke Program Coordinator at Frankfort Regional Medical Center and a registered nurse with experience across long‑term care, hospice and acute care settings. Sabrina earned her Associates of Science in Nursing from Kentucky State University in 2004, and Her Bachelor of Science from Galen College of Nursing in 2025.
She began her nursing career in long-term care, serving as Director of Nursing by 2007. In 2009, she transitioned to acute care as a medical‑surgical staff nurse. Sabrina later served in several roles, including clinical nurse coordinator for the medical‑surgical unit, charge nurse on the Ortho‑Neuro unit, hospice case manager, and PACU nurse.
In December 2023, Sabrina stepped into the Stroke Coordinator role, where she supports stroke care processes, protocols, and quality improvement efforts. She is known for her attention to detail, mentorship, practical leadership style, and commitment to patient outcomes. Her career reflects steady growth, hands‑on experience, and dedication to serving patients and her community.
Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys a full family life with her two sons, daughter‑in‑law, and three grandchildren. Originally from Eastern Kentucky, she has lived in Frankfort since 2002. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, art, and music—especially live concert
