Dr. Shweiki is a trauma surgeon within the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He remains fully clinically engaged in day-time clinical practice as well as trauma call. Dr. Shweiki serves on the Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation Standards Committee, reviewing and recommending state-wide Trauma System Standard of Accreditation. In addition, he has years of experience as both a Trauma Program Medical Director, as well as TOPIC Instructor.
