Twyla Crain, LSW
Twyla Crain is a Harm Reduction Specialist at the Lincoln Trail District Health Department, where she has served since 2017. In her role, she advocates for vulnerable populations and raises awareness of the needs of individuals experiencing substance use and mental health challenges. She has chaired the Hardin County ASAP C.O.P.E. Coalition since July 2024 and has been actively involved with Overdose Fatality Review (OFR) meetings since 2023, serving as data recorder since June 2025 and leading the OFR Recommendations Committee. Twyla collaborates with community partners across the Lincoln Trail District to reduce stigma and support individuals with substance use disorder and their loved ones. Her work focuses on implementing evidence-based harm reduction strategies, advancing prevention efforts, and promoting healthier, safer communities.
