Billy O'Bryan, Certified Peer Support Specialist

Billy O’Bryan is a Louisville, Kentucky-based recovery advocate and nonprofit strategist committed to building strong, peer-led systems of support for individuals and families affected by substance use. As Kentucky Program Director for Young People in Recovery (YPR), he leads statewide chapter development, partnership cultivation, and data-informed program design. He also serves as Board President for the Louisville Recovery Community Connection (LRCC), advancing community-driven recovery solutions and legislative engagement. Billy’s work centers on expanding access, reducing stigma, and ensuring that recovery communities have the tools, resources, and voice needed to shape policy and public health outcomes.
