Angie Kirby graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and minor in Political Science, and a Master of Public Administration. Prior to coming to KIPRC in January 2020, she worked as an intern for the non-profit CASA of Madison County and as a Graduate Assistant for EKU’s Department of Government. Angie started on the Kentucky Opioid Response Effort (KORE) for recovery housing to perform an environmental scan of Kentucky and moved to the Overdose to Data Action grant (OD2A) to assist in the development of FindRecoveryHousingNowKY.org.  Currently, Angie is responsible for onboarding recovery houses, maintaining the FindRecoveryHousingNowKY.org website, providing technical assistance, training, and research.
