Jennifer Twyman (she/her) is a Community Organizer with VOCAL-KY, where she has worked since the organization’s launch in 2022. Her advocacy is rooted in lived experience, including a 20-year journey with opioid use, long-term harm reduction practice, and supporting a loved one through decades of incarceration.

She previously worked with Louisville Metro Public Health & Wellness, conducting syringe exchange, street outreach, and overdose response in Louisville’s most impacted communities. Jennifer now focuses on advancing people-centered drug policy, housing justice, and decarceration efforts across Kentucky. She holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Louisville.
