Maternal Mental Health Community Resource ToolKit

Although numerous community resources are available, not all are being utilized or effectively recommended. We encourage fostering collaborative communication with patients and clients regarding their needs, rather than attempting to provide direct guidance.

Reports indicate that patients and clients often feel invalidated and hesitant to seek assistance, primarily due to insufficient education or misinformation from other community sources. It is essential to implement a comprehensive plan and ensure systematic follow-up within the practices that engage with these individuals.
