Nurses in high-stress clinical environments face significant risks of burnout, diminished self-reflection skills, and reduced motivation, all of which negatively impact patient care and professional sustainability. Targeted education focused on burnout recognition, non-judgmental self-reflection, goal setting, and purpose-driven practice is essential to strengthen resilience, enhance engagement, and improve overall healthcare outcomes.

After this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the signs of clinical burnout
  • Develop strategies to cope with and overcome burnout
  • Review the importance of self-reflection without self-judgment in a high-stress clinical environment and how mastering this concept can lead to improved nursing care
  • Recognize the importance of self-motivation and goal setting as key factors in improving nursing care as well as personal and professional development
