Accessibility of Online Educational Activities

The University of Kentucky is committed to providing accredited continuing professional development (CPD; e.g., CME, CNE, CPE, etc.) activities that are accessible to individuals with disabilities and align with applicable digital accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

CECentral uses EthosCE, our accreditation management system, and Warpwire, our video hosting platform, to deliver online educational activities. These systems include accessibility features designed to support WCAG standards.

While these platforms provide accessible system infrastructure, the accessibility of educational materials depends on how content is created and provided by activity planners, faculty, and other contributors. For a full list of accessibility requirements for educational materials, see the ADA Digital Accessibility Requirements hub page.
