Weighing the Odds: LAN MAT Risks & Benefits

Current primary care practice sites are rarely providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) as part of the comprehensive care needed for patients who suffer from substance use disorder (SUD) and are seen in this setting. Target Audience

Healthcare professionals in a primary care setting.

1. Identify the benefits of use of LAN MAT.
2. Recognize significant risks, warnings, and adverse effects associated with LAN MAT.
3. Explain to primary care patients the significant benefits, risks, warnings, and adverse effects most associated with LAN MAT
