- Describe the epidemiology of end stage renal disease in African Americans and other Black populations
- Explain how apolipoprotein L1 (APOL1) kidney risk variants mediate kidney injury
- Identify which patients and family members should undergo APOL1 genetic screening tests
- List the emerging therapeutic options for APOL1-mediated kidney disease
