Michael Hackett, Michael Hackett MSN, CRNA
Mike has been in clinical anesthesia practice since 2004 and has experience in community-based and academic Level 1 trauma settings. His professional interests include evidenced-based practice, perioperative patient safety, and translating emerging research into clinical practice.
In addition to his clinical anesthesia practice, Michael serves as Deputy Chief of Wolfe County Search and Rescue and is a member of Kentucky Emergency Management Urban Search and Rescue Hazardous Area Response Team (KYEM USAR HART), where he participates in helicopter and ground based based technical rescue, Wilderness medicine, and multidisciplinary emergency response.
Michael enjoys presenting on topics that encourages a critical evaluation of the medical literature, challenges conventional assumptions, and that provides clinicians with practical, evidenced-based information that can be applied immediately to patient care.
