Mautin Barry-Hundeyin, MD
Mautin Barry-Hundeyin, MD, FACS, FSSO is a surgical oncologist who specializes in complex hepatobiliary, pancreatic, gastrointestinal malignancies and intra-abdominal sarcomas. She is also researching the latest treatments using immunotherapy and other advanced therapies.
Dr. Barry-Hundeyin completed her medical degree graduating Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She then completed her general surgery residency at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and her postdoctoral research fellowship at New York University, where she published influential studies in pancreatic cancer tumor immunology.
She received advanced training in cancer surgery through a complex general surgical oncology fellowship at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY, where she honed her skills in minimally invasive and robotic techniques, regional therapies including hepatic arterial infusion pump (HAIP) and cytoreductive surgery with HIPEC, and multidisciplinary management of rare and aggressive cancers.
With a strong academic and clinical background, Dr. Barry-Hundeyin is passionate about partnering with referring providers to ensure timely evaluations, streamlined communication, and access to advanced surgical options and clinical trials.
