Dr. Jessalynn White, PharmD, currently serves as the Director of Medication Safety at Norton Healthcare. Through multidisciplinary teams, Dr. White oversees the strategic management of medication safety, for both acute and ambulatory care services, focusing on all steps of the medication use process. Prior to joining this Kentuckiana based hospital system of over 23,000 employees, she was the Network Medication Safety Director for 7 years at a hospital system located in Indianapolis, IN. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University and completed a Post-Graduate Year One Pharmacy Practice residency at Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, IN followed by a Post-Graduate Year 2 Medication Safety Specialty Residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Currently, she chairs the KSHP Membership and Marketing Committee and serves as a preceptor for multiple Norton residency programs. Outside of pharmacy, Jessa enjoys spending her time exploring the Louisville area with her Border collie mix puppy (Maeve), hacking up the golf course, and spending quiet evenings with her cat (Alani).
