Dr. Sharma is the Director of the Neonatal Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Program at UK, Kentucky’s only program of its kind, focused on using bedside ultrasound to improve rapid decision-making and procedural safety in the NICU. She serves on the executive committee of the National Neonatal POCUS Collaborative and leads grant-funded research and simulation development in POCUS-guided neonatal care.
