Charles Harvey, PharmD, BCIDP

Dr. Chad Harvey, PharmD, BCIDP is an Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Northern Kentucky. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati and completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at UC Health – West Chester Hospital. Dr. Harvey is certified in Antimicrobial Stewardship through both the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and obtained board certification in infectious diseases (BCIDP). He serves as chair of the St. Elizabeth Healthcare’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Subcommittee. He led the process of obtaining IDSA Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence (ASCoE) designation for St. Elizabeth Healthcare and now serves as a member of the IDSA’s ASCoE Subcommittee. He is a preceptor for both PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents, along with advanced practice pharmacy students. He was recently named the recipient of University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy Peter J. Yurkowski Advanced Practice Experience Preceptor Excellence Award and has been awarded Preceptor of the Year for the St. Elizabeth PGY1 pharmacy residency program multiple times.
