Dr. Laura Bishop is an Associate Professor at the University of Louisville, where she practices as a Med-Peds Hospitalist with a clinical focus on addiction medicine in both settings as well as health care equity. She is passionate about medical education at all levels, actively teaching pathology and small group sessions with preclinical learners as well as serving as an Associate Program Director for the Med-Peds Residency Training Program. She is a co-founder and now the Executive Director for Louisville Lectures, an online open-access medical education platform. Her other interests include nail art, pinball competitions, Disney World vacation planning, generating Taylor Swift conspiracy theories and working alongside her husband as a co-owner of their comic book and board game store and website.
