I am a medical and neuro-oncologist at the University of Kentucky taking care of brain and lung cancers and recently early therapeutics. I lead our clinical neuro-oncology program and have also become the medical director for the Precision Medicine Center. Lung cancers having brain metastases and primary brain tumors are my expertise and long interest. I have been involved in clinical trials that advanced the field including NCI cooperative groups, and the NCI Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN). The focus of my research is therapeutic investigations along with interventions to improve the quality of cancer care and life of patients with advanced cancers.  I have received NCI funding as a PI. I have a long history of collaborating with researchers in cancer epidemiology, pharmacology, and translational researchers by serving the role of a clinically based researcher.
