Carleton Ellis, PharmD, BCOP
Dr. Carleton Scott Ellis, PharmD, BCOP, is a Pharmacist Program Coordinator for Research, Genomics, and Procedural Therapy at UK HealthCare and an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and subsequent residencies in general and oncology pharmacy at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Ellis actively contributes to precision oncology initiatives through his roles on the Markey Cancer Center’s Molecular Tumor Board and Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee. His work focuses on integrating precision medicine, pharmacogenomics, and therapeutic drug monitoring into oncology practice to optimize safety and efficacy in cancer treatment.
Dr. Ellis’s current research explores pharmacokinetic-guided dosing and ancillary therapies that enhance the safety and effectiveness of targeted and immunotherapy regimens. Dr. Ellis is committed to advancing pharmacy-driven research and applying genomic innovations to develop practical strategies that improve patient care.
