Dr. Andrew Leventhal is a structural interventional cardiologist and the Medical Director of the University of Kentucky Adult Congenital Heart Program, a nationally recognized Comprehensive Care Center accredited by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. He brings a wealth of expertise to his role, with advanced fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at the National Institutes of Health, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Structural Interventional Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at Toronto General Hospital.

Dr. Leventhal is one of few cardiologists in the nation with fellowship training and board certification in both interventional cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. His research interests include transcatheter therapies for structural and congenital heart disease.
