Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify vulnerabilities and common barriers faced by individuals with substance use disorders
- Identify supportive and high-quality referrals for individuals with substance use disorders
- Explain the importance of thorough, active referrals during times of transition, as this is a vulnerable time for those with SUD
- Describe how to maintain a person-centered approach to reach the client's goals
