Kimberly D. Northrip, MD, MPH, FAAP is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She completed medical school and pediatric residency at the Medical College of Virginia at VCU and a fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics from Children’s National Medical Center.  She also received a Masters of Public Health from George Washington University.  

Dr. Northrip is a practicing pediatrician with professional interests in child mental health, toxic stress, child advocacy, and social determinants of health. She is the director of UK HealthCare CECentral which provides continuing professional development for healthcare professionals and currently serves as the Immediate Past President for the Society for Academic CME.
